NOTE ** Because I am still a baby, I will only be placed in a home where someone is home often, such as retired, work at home, work opposite shifts, stay at home parents, etc. UPDATE 4/6/09 - Molly continues to do very well as the sixth member of the Farag household. She definitely enjoys being outside more, now that the weather is nicer. She has LOTS of energy. We cannot find a dog toy yet that can withstand her chewing power! Not even the Kong! (We welcome any suggestions.) Molly is great healthwise. She has a routine heartworm check in a couple of weeks. We are still working on riding in the car. She is not a big fan. She gets really sick no matter where she is in the vehicle. No complaints about Molly. She is a sweet, smart, and wonderful dog! UPDATE 3/7/09 - Molly,(fka Holly), is such a great dog! It's like she has always been a part of our family. We had one accident the first night she was here, but none since! She got a clean bill of health from the vet, just had to give her drops for possible ear mites that hadn't quite cleared up. She goes back to vet Monday for second lyme booster and will be good to go. Molly's favorite spot to be is curled up on mom and dad's bed....We still crate her at night and she is quite content to be in the crate. We tell her it is night night and she runs to the crate awaiting her treat! She hasn't met anyone that she hasn't licked to death. What a sweet and smart dog. I always look forward to the afternoon, when we get our middle daughter from the bus. Molly anxiously awaits the arrival of her big sister, Emma. As soon as the bus arrives, all of the little faces are watching out their windows as I struggle to hold Molly back from smothering Emma with kisses and knocking her down from joy! We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family!!!!!!!!!! 2/8/09 - Holly has been adopted! 12/7/08 - Holly is really sweet. She isn't hyper but she plays a lot like most puppies. She is a black labrador retriever mix that came in from a high kill shelter and has the sweetest face. Holly loves to play with the toys from the toy basket and with her playmate. Cuddles (our dog) isn't much of a playmate as Ginger is so Holly tries to keep her distance. They pups get into everything and play everywhere. They love to chew on everything to although they don't damage it at all, well not yet. It is because they are teething but most of the time they will chew on toys or bones. She loves to give kisses and get lots of attention. She thinks she is a lap dog so thats where she is a good half of the time. We noticed that she has a bit of a cough though. About every 20 minutes she will cough and a minute later she will cough again and it goes on like that for a while. Other then that she doesn't have any noticeable health problems. We'll schedule a vet check for them tomorrow to get them both checked out. Thats all on Holly for now. |
