4/12/20 Debby was finally spayed on Thursday. She had a lump removed from her back leg and also a mammary tumor removed as long as she was already under. She has been taking a little while to bounce back, the poor thing. Yesterday she was finally starting to move around more and seemed to be feeling better. So hopefully in the next few days she will be back to her normal happy self and ready for her lucky forever family to come and take her home. In the meantime we love having her here with us. She is really such a sweetheart and just a perfect representation of the boxer breed.

4/5/20 Another week has passed with Debby here with us. She is doing great. We barely even notice she is here. She is just so easy and a really good girl. I think I have heard her bark twice since she got here. Nothing really phases her. Her little nub never stops moving. I was able to find a vet to do her spay so she will be having that done this Thursday and after that she will be ready to be on her way. Someone is going to be so lucky to get this girl.

3/29/20 Debby has spent a week here with us and she is doing great. I gave her a bath when we got home with her from her transport and she was so good. Also cut her nails without her even moving once. She loves being with us and is super friendly. She still gets a little nervous on walks but she is definitely improving. She sleeps mostly through the night but tends to wake up early- between 4 and 6 am but she goes out and then settles right back down. I’m guessing once she gets more settled she will start to sleep later. She is completely potty trained which has been wonderful- not one accident inside.

I am having trouble finding a vet that is urgently accepting non-emergency surgeries so her spay is not currently scheduled. Once that is taken care of she can move on to be with her new lucky family. She is one of the nicest and easiest boxers I have ever met.

3/22/20  Debby arrived yesterday afternoon and what a nice girl she is. Super friendly, energetic and just so sweet. She met our dogs and everyone gets along great. She loves to be around us and has an awesome boxer personality. She needs to be spayed so I will work on having that done as soon as possible so she can be on her go way to a very lucky forever home.
