11/30/19 It’s about time my foster mom let me do an update for myself!  Just when I was starting to settle and get over my uneasiness, she threw a wrench into the pot. She adopted a 4 month old puppy. This puppy is full of spunk and loves to bounce off of me.  Sometimes he decides I’m also going to be a teething ring for him and that’s when I gently nudge him with my paw and if that doesn’t work, I snarl at him. I would never think of hurting him I just like to put him in his place.

I’ve been still eating in my crate, it just something I guess I’m used to and as long as I eat foster mom is happy.  Foster mom leaves the crate open when she’s home and I go in, just for some rest but the puppy decides he wants to cuddle so he joins me. I’m not crated at night when I sleep because I’m a good boy.

I’m still a little nervous meeting new people but I’m sure that will pass. I’m looking for my forever home and hope you can consider me. I’m so gentle I wouldn’t even mind you putting a bow on me for Christmas!!

11/17/19 – Jasper has been here for 1 week now and I have to say that he is a great boxer.  I love to see him and Amber run in the yard and do the boxer wiggle, especially love to see the boxer prance.  But, they still need work to overcome their skittishness.  One time I can walk by them and they’re fine, other times they cower and run away.  Jasper has more self-confidence and has no problem when I call for him to go out.  He’s very good in his crate, goes in when I call him and put some treats in there for him.  I don’t hear a peep out of him when I leave the house or haven’t had any complaints from my neighbors when I’m not home and he’s crated.  I do hope that you’ll consider adopting this boxer baby and give him a second chance on his life, his first one, wasn’t a great one.  Thank God, he’s safe now and will live the rest of his life full of love, patience and a family that loves him!

11/9/19 – I arrived with Amber to my permanent foster home last night.  After a week, I am still very skittish around certain moves and noises. Amber and I rely on each other to make sure we’re doing ok.  I’m doing well with my eating and I know my name.  I do not walk well on a leash, foster mom says I’m a work in progress.  I get very skittish when we’re walking because of all of the uncertain noises I hear and the cars that pass by.  I do like being in the backyard, I may here noises but I know I’m safe and secure in a fenced yard.

11/2/19 – Hi, my name is Jasper and I came to SCBR through the Ohio Puppy Mill Rescue Team.  I want to thank everyone who helped with Amber and my transport to our temporary foster home.  My foster mom is away this weekend and we needed to come in so we’re here only temporary.  I do like it here, there are other dogs whom I do get along with.  I am very hesitant in my new environment because of where I came from.  I will need a lot of patience and TLC until I become more confident of my surroundings and of myself.
