08/23/2020 I picked
Nickie up yesterday and she is doing well settling in. Nickie was surrendered
from a puppy mill after she was no longer useful to them. This beautiful girl
probably made that miller thousands of dollars in her 7 years of being a
breeding machine for them, only to be tossed away. She deserves a nice home now
to live her "retirement "
Nickie may be 7
but she has no problem playing with her foster brother (2) and sister (8 mo).
She seams to like the company of other dogs. She also does well with the cats
in the home. She does bark at them but seams like just to play.
Stairs are our
current mastery project. It is clear that Nickie has never had to deal with the
evil stairs. We will work on that, but for now I am using getting her chunky
butt down for potty breaks as a workout! She is a big girl! I do not have a
weight on her but I would say around 65 -70 lbs.
Nickie is a sweet
girl that gets excited when she sees a people coming. Her chunky little nub
gets going a mile a minute. Stay tuned for more updates as we get to know this
sweet faced girl.
