11/20/2020 – I have to tell you that Rainbow is a different dog today. She was very happy to greet us and went outside without a leash to help her.  The past couple of days she needed to be coaxed with a leash to get outside, once outside she was fine. She actually played with her young foster brother today both inside and outside of the house. She is starting to come out of her shell, which is making this foster mom really happy. She has no problem eating and loves to get treats! This mill momma is coming to see that her new life is wonderful and is looking forward to the day she’ll have her own family!

11/19/2020 – This morning was a little nerve wracking for me and I really have to tell you about it. My foster mom gives me a spa bath in the morning and evening because of my feet.  The baths are really helping and I enjoy them but I did something this morning that got me really nervous. I tried to climb out of the tub once the water was being drained and my foster mom went to help me and I fell backwards and couldn’t get up.  Foster mom said I was doing the turtle dance, I didn’t like it. When she finally got me out, I ran into the kitchen and got stuck under the chair.  I just couldn’t wait to get to my comfy zone, my crate. Once I was there I didn’t move until the dog sitter came.

11/16/2020 – After a busy few days, Ms. Rainbow came to settle in her foster home yesterday. Before arriving, she went on a few road trips and was actually treated to a spa visit as well. Thanks to all who helped to get this precious puppy mill momma into safety. The name that is on her paperwork is Rain, although it is a pretty name, with all this momma has gone through, she will now see the beauty life is going to give her, so we added a bow to her name.

Rainbow met her 2 foster brothers yesterday and settled down with a good supper and comfy bed for the night. This morning she ate a good breakfast and as much as her foster brothers want to play with her, she’s taking things cautiously. Rainbow is still getting used the idea of being in a family environment and I’m sure will soon blossom out of her shell soon, keep looking out for her adventures!
