12/21/18-Tyson has been great! His personality is really starting to show and he is a very sweet boxer. He has met some visitors that came to his foster home this week and greeted very well. He is a little protective of his foster humans when visitors arrived but once he was told it was ok and he met them he was fine and interacting with all that extra attention he could get! They all made friends very quickly. Tyson’s eyesight at night is something to be aware of as he is still learning his current surroundings. He just needs a well lit area and someone who will be patient as he learns his way. During the day or when everything is well lit, you’d never know he has the beginnings of cataracts. He is loose leash walking very well and when you ask him to crate up he goes in very well. Tyson is currently crated during that day when we are working and he is used to the crate. A toy and a treat and he is happy. He really is a handsome and fun boy.

12/15/18-Tyson did very well at the vets office. He was a great patient, minded his manners and melted hearts of everyone in the office. He encountered another pup in the waiting room and Tyson acknowledged him and kept to himself as commanded even though that pup wanted his attention.  He is a healthy boy with just the start of cataracts in his eyes but that doesn’t slow him up one bit! He still runs around and plays. He would do best in well lit areas when possible. All the staff at the vet’s office were impressed with his attitude and presence in the office and commented on how sweet he is. He’s a love bug for sure!

12/14/18-Tyson is doing very well in his foster home. He gets along with the other boxer in the house and plays well.He is very friendly and loving. He walks well with a loose leash and loves all the attention he is getting. He goes into his crate very well and loves his treats. Very food motivated and will "paw" for treats and other basic commands.

12/8/18-Tyson is a sweet 8 year old owner surrender that came into rescue today. His  family loved him but due to financial issues and not enough time for him anymore decided it would be best to find him a new home. His owners said he is very mellow, very lovable and has a good temperament. He lived with and was good with a female boxer and kids of all ages. He is not good with cats though.  He did great on his long car ride to his foster home and everyone along the way said he was a love bug! Updates soon from his foster home.
