MEET KAYA

10/11/21-Dear Forever Family, I know you’re out there & I want to tell you that I’m the best thing since sliced bread! I come when I’m called, I do my business outside, I walk with a leash by your side like the perfectly trained dog though I have had no obedience training & the ONLY thing I ask for, or let’s say I need, is to be loved. You may look at my age but I will verify I am pretty spunky & would like to have a good canine buddy to snuggle with but that’s okay if I don’t. I’ve come a long way since I came here. That big talking box in the den with people in it (tv) really concerned me but I got over that. And that thing called the radio, I still haven’t figured out why there are voices coming out of that.  The lady here says I get a little excited about breakfast & dinner & I do what she calls a good impression of Chewbacca. Of course I don’t know who that is but it makes her happy & laugh. So please consider me & i won’t let you down & I will be a best buddy ever for you & your family. Love, Kaya

 

9/17/21-Kaya is on ready, set, go! She has been spayed & is all healed up & can’t wait to get to her forever home. She is a happy camper, a joy to be around & I believe she would appreciate the company of another dog for her to play with but would be ok as only dog too.  I can attest to the fact she is not a counter surfer not does she have any kind of food aggression which makes me very happy.  The housebreaking hurdle is over & everything is fine. Every day she becomes less & less anxious at new things & more confident. Kaya as is hysterical when she first comes out of her crate in the morning, she has the most beautiful happy dance ever. She’s also getting very vocal when it’s to eat, she sounds like Chewbacca. I’m not quite sure how well she would do with really little itty bitty kids, not because she wouldn’t love them to death & be friendly, but she’s a little bouncy. Other than that she’s learning commands to go lay down & obviously crates real well & can’t wait to find her forever home.
