7/27/24-Lita had a hard time after her spay on Wednesday & the vet said she bled a lot. They scheduled a followup today for a recheck . She was running a fever so the vet started her on antibiotics & another recheck on Tuesday 7/30. We stopped at the garage sales for some socialization, she did so good just hung out in her bag. More updates next week after her vet visit & hopefully she can go home soon after.
  
7/23/24-Lita arrived on Thursday night while we were house & pet sitting and there was a lot going on so she kind of sat back and observed . On Sunday we moved back home. She got to relax and meet the resident Yorkies. This morning during yard time she voluntarily joined us for head scratches. Lita gets along with other dogs and cats. She is fine with kids but since she is so small & still skittish of loud noises i’d say kids over 8 would be better. She was groomed today & looks like a new girl!  The vet had an opening tomorrow to get her spay done a few days early so in a few days she will be ready to go home. 
 
07/18/24-Miss Lita is a sweet 4 year old female Yorkshire Terrier who arrived tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She came from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. Monday 7/29 is her spay & then she will be ready to go home!
