9/9/24-He’s baaaacck! Poor little Yogi, after another week in a new home he is back today due to no fault of his own to find another home. His new Dad had a sudden change in his office’s work-from-home policy & he was going to be required to work on-site starting next week. He felt he wouldn’t be able to give Yogi the time and attention he deserves. He said Yogi has been a wonderful puppy—he’s fully potty trained, very affectionate, and loves being around other dogs, though he’s still a bit shy with loud noises and sudden movements. He said Yogi was very much attached to him & followed him everywhere & it was very tough to leave him to find another home. His foster mom reports Yogi is already happily playing with her dogs right now while he waits for his furever home this time. Don’t miss out of this adorable boy!
9/2/24-Yogi was adopted again!
8/26/24-Yogi is doing great back at his foster home & is such a happy little guy. He is having fun chasing around the house and the backyard. We are feeding him in his crate trying to get him use to it in case his new home needs to crate him. This awesome puppy is ready for his new home!
08/25/24-Unfortunately after 2 weeks in his new home Yogi came back today to find another home. They loved him but he didn’t like being crated right now & it was just too much for them to handle & work with further. They said he is affectionate & loving. At night he was great uncrated laying on one of his dog beds or even the floor near one of them next to the couch. They also had been taking him for walks a few times a day and said he has gotten really good on a leash & harness. They also took him to a dog park & he had an absolute blast playing with the big dogs there. More updates from his foster home soon.
8/10/24-Yogi was adopted!
8/3/24-Yogi had a bath yesterday and his fur is so soft and silk like. He is very playful and has made himself right at home. He is doing great with doing his business outside but right now needs to be carried down the steps until he learns. Yogi will climb the stairs by himself though. He will be ready to ho home in a few days!
08/02/24-Yogi Berra is an adorable 6 month old male Teddy Bear Dog (shihtzu/bichon frise). They are called Teddy Bear dogs as they look like little teddy bears! He came in from a commercial breeder as he just got too old to sell. He arrived into rescue tonight thanks to their transport volunteers. He was neutered & we estimate he will get to be around 18 lbs full grown. He is an adorable, playful, bundle of joy. Don’t wait too long to adopt him as this cutie won’t be here long!
