8/5/24-Yesterday we bookended everything with a boxing match. These two can’t get enough of the nibbling and boxing and chasing. We spent most of the day by the pool. Safety first, Ace had his life jacket on just in case (our Bruno lovesssss to swim, which is odd for a boxer, so we just weren’t sure if Ace would follow). We are doing a great job with pee potty training. Poor Ace had his wormer & different food so hasn’t had a solid stool yet so we did chicken and rice today and will continue to see if we can get his tummy settled. We have gone for several short walks. Ace boops my legs from behind (LOL) but we are working on it. He’s also taking nice long naps in his crate, although he doesn’t choose to be in it. He is such a fun, cute, good little boy.
8/4/24-Flying by to say hello…meet our new foster baby, Ace! He’s 19 weeks of pure puppy-ness, and thank goodness fostering to adopt is not an option because the girls would keep him if it was! Besides being a lady killer, Ace is super playful (friendly with other dogs), extremely snuggly, very treat motivated, loves the dog pool and bath time (RIP towel stash), working on potty training, walking, and crate training. It’s hard to take pics because him and Bruno are in perpetual “go-time”. Lol He’s looking for his forever home now.
8/3/24-Ace arrived to his foster home thanks to his transport volunteers. He LOVED the bath, ate some puppy kibble (in like 5 seconds flat) and played with my 3yr boxer Bruno. He follows the kids around, so curious. He’s adorable. It’s hard to get pics of him because he is perpetual motion when he’s not in the crate! LOL He will be ready to go home in a few days!
8/2/24-Ace is the definition of a boxer puppy… Loaded with energy, appetite, inquisitive about everything, loves attention, and the instigator of boxer wrestlemania. Went to the vets today got a distemper and rabies shot and everything looks good so he can move on to the next stage of his forever life. He’s just figuring out what toys are for and. What eating out of a bowl is all about and has a sudden interest in chewing shoe strings off your shoe. He is lovable and affectionate and definitely full energy and would be a great addition to any home.
7/31/24-Ace is an handsome 19 week old male fawn & white boxer puppy. He came in with his sister from a commercial breeder as they just got too old to sell. They arrived into rescue tonight thanks to their transport & temporary foster volunteers. We estimate he will get to around 55 lbs full grown.
