8/27/24-Arria had her pre-spay checkup last week & the vet heard what thought could be a grade 3 out of 6 heart murmur. They ordered an echocardiogram with a cardiac specialist to be sure she could safely be spayed. We got the results today & her diagnosis is “bilateral degenerative AV valve disease stage B-1, which is the most common heart disease found in dogs”. Arria is at the lowest level (out of 5 levels) showing that she just has it but no clinical signs, no medication or follow up needed at this time. It is just something to watch at yearly checkups with her new owner’s vet.  She is being spayed Thursday 8/29 as planned & will be ready to go home a few days later.

8/23/24-Arria slept in the crate all night as a test to see how she would do crated, not a peep! Arria can be happy as an only dog in her new home or with other dogs. She loves to run & jump into a lap to snuggle. She’s a great dog!

8/13/24-Arria( R-ah) enjoys bellyrubs, kisses , long walks. Very friendly. A true great catch! Don’t miss out of this sweetie.
8/15/24-Arria (R-AH) is more than ready for her forever home. She is house broken . As far as commands go she sits, stays and touch. She runs through our house like she owns it. She loves attention and will butt right in to get attention first. She is an amazing foster.
8/11/24-Can you say AMAZING! This girl arrived into rescue on 8/9. She came with the name Arria and knows it. She seems to be completely housebroken . Sits on command. Walks on a leash. Someone took really good care of this girl. She is running around our house like she had always lived here. She was greeting people at our garage sale this weekend. Went to the bowling alley today . She has been groomed and she got a better report card than my own dogs. She is great with other dogs. No reaction to cats. Was great around kids. Food motivated. Will be available after her spay later in the month.

8/10/24-Meet Arria : This girl has been with us less then 24 hours and you would never know. She walks in and out of the house to go potty. She walks on a leash takes treats . Almost perfect!

08/09/24-Arria is a gorgeous 5 year old female mini schnauzer. She came in today from a commercial breeder as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue thanks to her transport volunteers. She has her pre-spay appointment on Tuesday 8/20, spay on Thursday 8/29 & then she will be ready
