9/23/24-This little character has been with us for 2 weeks now and he truly is a super smart and very sweet boy! Ozzie sleeps through the night in his crate as long as he is near others and will bark when it’s time to go out (usually around 6-6:30). He is responding very well to commands that help with his puppy manners and has come a long way learning that surfing is reserved for waves, not counters! Meal time is very exciting, and Ozzie is learning to sit patiently while his meal is prepared. He eats separately from his foster siblings as he tends to look for leftovers and has no problems interrupting others meals in pursuit of additional morsels. Ozzie pays little attention to my 10 yr old boxer, but absolutely ADORES my 2 yr old female Aussie doodle. Every day is Romper Room and I think if Ozzie has another dog in his new home he would be best with another pup that matches his energy and playful side. He will be great as an only dog too though. He walks well on a leash with very little pulling, and is making huge progress with potty training. Ozzie loves my grandsons, yet can still show some nervousness when my 6 yr old becomes too loud or active, and will just leave the environment if it becomes too noisy for him. This is one beautiful boy all around that leaves a lasting impression on all who meet him.
9/10/24-What a difference a few days make! This boy is a hoot! Ozzie is discovering the joy of toys and is learning to play with our resident 2 yr old Aussiedoodle. My 3 and 6 yr old grandsons adore him, and he returns the love tenfold. He is working hard on potty training and is doing great with his roommate role modeling for him. This boy eats like a champ and we are making progress on learning basic commands. Ozzie likes company, and does best in the crate overnight when others are near. This is one smart and funny love bug who makes us laugh all day through
9/9/24-Meet Ozzie! He arrived to his foster home yesterday He is super handsome and super energetic!! This cutie will be ready to go home very soon so don’t miss out!
9/6/24-Ozzie is a very loving, sweet & handsome 4 month old male standard size aussie (Australian Shepherd). He came in tonight from a commercial breeder along with his brother Zander as they just got too old to sell. Thanks go out to their transport & overnight volunteers! We estimate they will be about 60 lbs full grown.
