11/6/24-Rocky is amazing with my dogs & has really bonded with mine. He is gentle and kind. He doesn’t have any health problems. Before he was neutered he needed the belly band as he was marking like typical ex-breeder males.
He has barely had any accidents or marking since his neuter. He is just the sweetest guy!
10/28/24-Rocky B is just the best guy. He is still a puppy at heart. It will break my heart to see him go but he will make some family very happy!
10/19/24-Rocky B and SCBR alumni Socks out on their daily walk. They are best buddies. I love him. He is such a good boy & a great snuggler. He just wants to be with the pack. We can’t believe no one has snatched him up yet!
9/27/24-Rocky B is loving his bed! To the finer things in life outside the breeding days… Such a good boy!!
9/19/24-Rocky is enjoying the collection of bones he gathered up on the beds. He also loves the soft dog beds & tries hard to fluff them up! Lol He has such a beautiful cinnamon color that the pictures don’t do justice. His pre neuter appointment is next Tuesday 9/24. After that we will get a neuter date for asap so he can be ready to go to his new home.
9/16/24-Who’s a good boy?!? This guy, Rocky B! Walks great on a leash. Loves his fur friends. Getting used to my husband and I. Asking for more pet pets and starting to relax in general. He has a bit of a wet mouth and definitely doesn’t like the crate. He doesn’t panic about going in but needs some physical coaxing. Only cried in the crate for a little bit the first night but has been quiet since. Complete goof but sweetest big guy ever.
9/15/24-Introducing Rocky B! He is a bruiser with a heart of gold. He is very sweet! Just wants to be loved and part of the pack. Settling in well and so relaxed with our other dogs. Even my little tyrant of a frenchie seems to like him. LOL A little whining in the crate at first but slept the night in the crate. He is reluctant to get in but will with some coaxing. Not surprisingly he is marking but we are using a belly band. Total love bug! He is just the sweetest big lug you will ever meet!
9/14/24-Rocky is at his foster home. Doing super with the other dogs. Very sweet. Drinking water well. Took a short walk and did great on the leash. Right now he will let you pet him but if you stand over him he crouches down in a submissive posture. We are sure he is still unsure & scared of all the changes. We are working on getting a neuter appointment asap so Rocky B. can go to his new home asap.
09/13/24-Rocky is a 7yr old male boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need him anymore. He arrived tonight thanks to his transport & overnight volunteers. His overnight volunteer said: “HE IS SUCH A SWEETIE!! He’s so tired, he’s falling asleep sitting up. Poor baby. Long day. First day of the rest of the best part of his life.2
