11/10/24-Conner is being fostered with a nine-year-old male boxer, one male adult, one female adult, three-year-old male child and a five-year-old child. We have had Conner for over three weeks. He becomes more handsome each day . We are also getting to know him more. Conner is truly a pup & does try to box and wrestle our 5 year son. Our son is tough and he’s dog savvy. As previous mentioned, I continue to recommend children who are dogs savvy and tough. He loves to play all day and cuddle at night. Conner has a tendency to find anything and chews on it. He is gentle enough for us to pull out the object he is chewing on. We worry about him eat something he is not supposed have. His dinner etiquette needs some work. LOL He does beg at the table and even tries to wrestle with our dog under the table during our meal time. He shows no food aggression. He does eat quickly and then goes over to our dog’s bowl and pushes him out of the way to eat his. Conner is a great companion for a remote worker. He rarely barks and enjoys, looking out the window. Conner overall is a great dog with a lot of potential to learn right from wrong. He is just a boxer puppy in a big body & will do great with training.
10/26/24-Conner is a great dog. A universal dog, he will fit well in anyone’s home. The only home he might not do well in is someone who doesn’t want a puppy and train for basic commands. We have had to show Conner multiple times which toys are his and which our are kids. He also loves trying to hump the kids too. He was a hit today at our kids Halloween party. Everyone thought he was adorable and so nice! If younger children in home would suggest he needs to go into a home with children who are dog savvy though. There were kids at the party that were afraid of dogs. He would run after them playfully as they ran away from him. Connor needs some training with basic commands like stop and come. Picture of him passed out after a long day of partying! Lol
10/20/24-“Who’s that doggie in the window”… that’s Conner! I finally got a picture of his cute face. He does have some sores in his ear and he has thinner hair on his back plus a lot of fleas. He had a bath & treated him for fleas already. The thin hair is mostly likely from the fleas & maybe not the best food. He is such a cutie though, very long tongue! Lol He is so bouncy I had a hard time to get a good photo of him. He is very handsome…Big mushy face!! He is being neutered & getting his checkup & shots on Monday 10/28 & then he will be ready to go to his home. More info as we get to know him.
10/19/24-Conner is a handsome about 18 month old boxer boy that came into rescue today thanks to his transport volunteers. He is an owner who just couldn’t afford to take care of him anymore. Here are some quotes from his transport volunteers:
“ He is WONDERFUL! He is such a lover! Whoever gets to be this baby’s forever family will be so blessed!”
“Soooo sweet❣️”
“What a good boy! He rode beautifully for the last leg of the trip. Good luck, Conner!!”
