3/21/25-Raven went to vet today for a checkup & to get her heartworm/lyme combo test. She did great & was negative for everything & found she weighs a whopping 55lbs!  She could stand to lose a few pounds as she’s a little thick in the middle. Lol. We estimate she will be around 50 lbs once trimmed up some. She is now ready for her new home.

3/18/25-Raven has settled into her foster home like she’s been part of the family forever. She is very obedient and a quick learner! She gets along amazingly with the all other dogs that she has met. She was introduced to a cat and it didn’t phase her one bit. She likes her food and treats but her most favorite thing is getting attention! She is crate trained but does great all night sleeping next to the human bed on a dog bed. She is such a love. Some lucky family will be so fortunate to add her to their family! She will be ready for her new home next week.

3/16/25-Raven has made it to her foster home. She is a very sweet girl and is getting along with my dogs amazingly! She was introduced to a cat today also and could have cared less about it. I would say she is more in the 50lb range. She is very eager to please & comes when called. She will make any amazing pet for some lucky family!

3/15/25-Raven is a 14 month old female Portuguese Water Dog owner surrender that is coming into rescue tomorrow. She was adopted from our rescue 11 months ago as a puppy to a great family with 4 kids from 2-16 years old (she was Phoebe on the site then). Raven is their first dog as a family & they really loved her. They recently found out that their youngest child is severely allergic to dogs. He had been very sick, did many tests & they didn’t know what was causing it until his doctor referred them to see an allergist. They were so heartbroken to give Raven up but this is a true emergency medical issue. The described Raven as very kind, sweet, good with kids of all ages & dogs, loves to play.
