7/11/25-From Ashley his groomer: Bruce was a DREAM! He was so polite for every part of his groom, and even dozed off when I was doing his face. He just melts into your arms! Such a good boy. Bruce will come with a FREE groom to his adopters from me & Love Your Dog if you are in Lockport,NY area.
5/27/25-Bruce is enjoying not wearing his e-collar post surgery anymore. He waits for his belly band to be removed before going outside and he is very good about waiting for the belly band to be put back on him when he goes back inside. Here we use pee pads for my dogs so i think once he is in his new home he will get better at his housebreaking. Bruce enjoyed being around the family for our Memorial Day get together. He was fine with the 4 and 5 year old children there. Still working on leash training. Bruce is such a fantastic dog.
5/18/25-Bruce is having fun exploring the yard. He sleeps in a crate at night but barks if you leave the room as if to say” hey you forgot me”. Bruce will follow you around the house and rest next to you. He doesn’t like sitting on your lap right now but that may be because of the ecollar he is wearing post neuter. He is starting to play with the other dogs. This gorgeous boy is still looking for his furever home.
5/12/25-Bruce is loving the outside. He gets along well with the other dogs in the house as well as the two cats. He recently started jumping up on the cushion and is climbing a few stairs. He is learning how to walk on a leash and going outside to do his business. He will sleep in a crate but definitely prefers to roam free. Bruce behaves very well and I have only heard him bark once. He still marks in the house right now but i am sure after his neuter on Wednesday he will be less prone to leave his scent for the females as his hormones go down & he learns how to live in a house. His color is very becoming.
05/02/25-Bruce is a cute as a button little 3 year old miniature poodle. He came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need him anymore. He arrived safely into rescue thanks to his transport volunteers. We have a belly band one him just to discourage marking (as an unneutered male breeder dog we do this). His pre-neuter appointment is next week & he is being neutered on Wednesday 5/14. He will be ready to go home soon after that.
