9/11/25-Brooklynne is doing great. She was spayed on August 21 and has recovered very well from that. She is turned into a very affectionate playful bouncy girl who thinks she’s a little boxer puppy. I feel like she’s experiencing life for the first time she loves to play she gets along with her 6 other boxer, foster siblings. She loves my other foster girl Maisy May.  They love to wrestle and play. Right now we’re working on her minding outside and she’s doing great which for a mill mama is a huge accomplishment because all they want to  do is run after being pent up their whole life.  She’s doing great playing outside and staying with the others. She’s starting to learn her boundaries. She’s blossom into a beautiful loving, affectionate baby girl & we can’t believe no one has snatched her up yet!

8/28/25-Brooklynne is turning in to the bouncy little boxer girl who likes to roll in the bed at night and nibble on my husband’s hands while he’s sleeping. Lol  She’s turning into a true boxer vs the scared little baby that she was when she came to me. She wiggles and does her cute little breakfast dance!  She’s now a very very happy bouncy baby girl. Our dogs with an outgoing personality really brought her out of her shell. Sometimes she can’t stand to be separated from our male Cooper, she just adores him!

8/21/25-Brooklynne’s spay surgery went well and she’s in the living room with my husband snoring up a storm! Lol No mention of a heart murmur either so as suspected there is nothing there to worry about. If they had detected one at this vet they wouldn’t have spayed her. She has her doughnut on and she’s resting comfortably in her crate. She loves lounging on the porch hanging with our visitors.  Brooklynne is a definite “keeper” & is now ready for her new home!

8/20/25-Brooklynne just had her first taste of beef jerky. She loved it. I know she has to fast from midnight on for her spay tomorrow, so she just had a little taste and she wants more! Lol She’s going to make some family very happy. She is extremely sweet & will be ready for her new home in a few days. Don’t miss out on this awesome girl!

8/6/25-Brooklynne is such a beautiful girl, is super friendly and loves all of her foster doggie siblings. We call her Brook A Lynne and she loves to wiggle when we say her name like that. We also call her Brookie. She has been the foster dog that was the most skittish and hand shy when she arrived that I’ve gotten so far. Yet now she’s giving kisses & is very affectionate!  Like most ex-breeder mommas she’s reluctant to go with you when you get a hold of her collar, but if you put the gentle lead around her neck, she walks anywhere with you. She’s a lovely, very sweet well natured girl who is fully housebroken loves to sleep on the bed all night keeps her crate very neat and nice during the day. She’s tired right now & is passed out on the bed with my two littlest boxer girls. She’s the perfect lady and house guest!

7/30/25-Brooklynne is doing great she runs around and plays with Cooper like she never had any past life before this, which makes me very happy. Due to personal scheduling reasons we had to reschedule her spay that was supposed to be tomorrow. She is now scheduled for Thursday 8/21 & will be ready to go home after that.

7/27/25-Brooklynne is doing great! From beyond scared a week ago and now she’s just out and about and investigating the whole house. She’s starting to give kisses too.  Her spay is this Thursday 7/31 & then she will be ready for her new home.

7/22/25-So Saturday night, I could not wrangle Brooklynne in the house, same thing on Sunday, & I had to chase her around the kitchen table to try to catch her.  Today she’s walking up and down the stairs all around without the lead on.  She even went upstairs and waited at the crate for me to put her away when I left this morning. She loves the ground turkey on her food. She has made such strides in in two days with us. I lift her up onto the bed at night and she kind of freezes. She doesn’t know really how to relax or snuggle in for the first few minutes. I know she’s probably never slept in a bed before, but she sleeps all night long and the snoring is just adorable. It’s the best sound of the world.  She’s sleeping next to me and I rubbed her ears and pet her throughout the night so she knows what a gentle touch is.

7/21/25-Brooklynne is still very scared of people & we’ve basically been doing laps around the kitchen table to try to catch her. Lol She slept between my husband and I last night and she snored like a truck driver! I’m sure that’s one of the few times she had relaxing human contact. She ate pretty well this morning and she loves to play with my dog Cooper. She’s just so timid and shy, but Cooper said “I’m gonna break her out of her shell Mom, don’t worry I got this!!”.

07/18/25-Brooklynne is a sweet but very scared right now 5 year old female boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight foster volunteers. Her initial vet check as she came into rescue noted she may have a low grade 2 heart murmur (often there is no murmur & just stress of coming in from breeder, anxious & noise etc). We will get a 2nd check on her heart at our other vet during her spay which we are trying to get scheduled soon.
