7/30/25-Looking for a sweet, calm, and well-behaved puppy? Ruthie is the girl for you! She is the easiest puppy I’ve had, actually one of the easiest fosters I’ve had. She walks well on a leash, goes to the bathroom outside, sleeps through the night, and does well in her crate. I have a cat and she is fine with him too.  She really is such a wonderful girl, and everyone who meets her just loves her.

7/28/25-Ruthie is doing great!  She loves going on walks and is doing very well on the leash.  She sleeps in her crate all through the night. She is a very sweet girl who loves to be wherever I am.  She has some matting that I have been working on, but I am hoping a groomer friend will be able to help me get the rest out when she returns from vacation this week.  She has great house manners and will be a wonderful addition to any family.  This girl won’t be here long as she will be ready to go home soon!

7/26/25-Ruthie is feeling like a new girl after her bath and brushing. She slept through the night in her crate and has been going potty outside. She was very shy and scared this morning, but has been quickly adjusting to this new life outside the breeder.

7/25/25-My newest foster has arrived! Ruthie is a very sweet 19 week old Standard bernedoodle (standard poodle/bernese mountain dog). She came in from a commercial breeder along with her brother Auggie as they just got too old to sell. They both have ear infections they are being treated for, but otherwise are healthy.  She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport volunteers. She is a very big girl & definitely got the bernese size! We estimate she will be at least 75 lbs full grown. She is in desperate need of a good bath and brush.  I will get her cleaned up tomorrow after she has some time to settle in.
