8/3/25-Wembley loves all people. We had company tonight and Wembley was delighted. He would take turns climbing in laps. Wembley just has the best personality. He loves kids and will follow them all over the yard.
7/30/25-Wembley is now neutered & did great. He will be ready for his new home soon.
7/29/25-Wembley had his pre-neuter appointment today & already gained 1.8 lbs! The vet says the mid to high 20’s would be the ideal weight for him as he is just a petite guy. He’s a great eater so he will get there easily. The vet thinks being on a healthy diet will help with the thin fur spots. Overall he is healthy and happy!
7/26/25-I picked Wembley up from the transport last night. He is so well adjusted I brought him to work with me at the bowling alley & he is out running around on the golf course with my employees. So far he loves everyone & hasn’t felt anyone was a stranger, all instant best friends! He slept in bed with me & my 2 yorkie girls last night and he runs in and out of the house with them. He is also cat tested & passed. I brought him in the room when I fed our cat. Didn’t even pay her any attention and she was on the bed yelling for her food. Wembley is extremely underweight & can feel his ribs & spine. He is so skinny right now he resembles a fox! Being only 20 lbs now & breed standard is he should be at least 30 lbs, so 8-10 more lbs needed. Luckily he is a good eater & being wormed by us to be sure his system is clear & he can put on some weight soon. This boy is perfect & won’t be here long!
06/27/25-Wembley is a handsome 2 year old make Cardigan Welsh Corgi. He came in from a commercial breeder that didn’t need him any more. He arrived into rescue today thanks to his transport volunteers. He has his pre-spay on Tuesday 7/29 & will be neutered on Wednesday 7/30 & will be ready to go home soon after that.
