26/25-Lila doesn’t seem to react or even notice little critters in the backyard nor on walks. We have chickens and Lila is very indifferent to them now that she got used to them. Also we find most dogs from commercial breeders are good with cats as they have lots of barn cats to take care of critters. For this reason we think Lila will be fine with dog savvy cats.
9/17/25-Lila is a very sweet, loving girl. She is house-trained and hasn’t had any accidents, and knows what it means to go outside. Lila is getting better at going into her crate, as she always gets a treat and some scratchies when we put her in her crate. She is good with other dogs, and she is starting to become more playful with our dogs. Lila has a good appetite, and hasn’t had any issues with eating. She is recovering well from her spay. Lila has a good amount of energy and loves to run around the yard and explore when going on walks. She is getting better on her leash, and isn’t much of a puller, she just likes to wander all over. She would make a great addition to any family and is ready for her forever home.
9/14/25-Here are some comments from two of Lila’s transport volunteers the day she came into rescue:
09/06/25-Lila is a beautiful 4 year old fawn female boxer that came in today along with Amber from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need them anymore. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport volunteers. Her spay is next Thursday 9/11. Once she is spayed & we get to know her better she will be ready to go to her new home.
