10/10/25-Bruno is living the good life at my house until he gets his forever home. He was quite popular at the vets and everyone remarked that he was “a Keeper”. He is a typical two-year-old, looking for something to play with, running zoomies in the yard, no matter who walks in the door he’s looking for love, even if it’s nobody he’s ever met before. He has got the biggest black velvet soft chops on him that you can just melt right into. If you’re ever contemplating a boxer in your house, he would be the perfect dog!

10/6/25-Bruno had his pre-neuter appointment today & everyone loved him! No heart murmur heard by this vet & other than being a slight bit of ribs showing he was healthy. His neuter is tomorrow. This sweet boy is going to go fast!

10/5/25-Adorable… Energetic… Very affectionate… Incredible personality. Bruno is everything anyone would ever want in a boxer. I’m not sure what wiggles faster, his tail or his butt! He defines the word, happy camper and is just so easy-going and lovable. In my opinion, he would make the perfect second boxer in a family after seeing how well he plays with the two boxers here, but he will ok as an only dog too. I would say he’s a little bit too energetic for an older dog, but the good news is when he meets people he’s not a jumper, but rather very polite and just all wiggles. Whoever gets to adopt this dog will get an amazing addition to their family.

10/03/25-Bruno Jr. is a handsome & very sweet almost 2 year old male boxer that came in today on a transport. He is an owner surrender that lived outside mostly with a dog house. His owners gave him up as they couldn’t keep him from crossing the road to the neighbors’ farm & chasing the sheep & chickens. He arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to his transport volunteers. He is being treated with antibiotics for being positive for Lyme & anaplasmosis (tick borne diseases). His initial vet check as he came into rescue noted he may have a heart murmur (often there is no murmur & just stress of coming in from breeder, anxious & noise etc.). We will get a 2nd check on his heart at our other vet during his pre-neuter. He has his pre-neuter appointment on Monday 10/6 & Tuesday 10/7 is his neuter. Once we get to know him & his needs a little better he will be ready to go home.
