12/28/25-Hank is an energetic, sweet, curious boy. Hank has a lot of energy and loves to wander around the house and sniff everything. He loves being pet and to lick our hands while we are doing it. He is learning to relax when we are, and enjoys chewing his nylabone. Hank has no problems eating or going in his crate when it is time, and we always praise him and give him a treat when he does. Hank is doing well with going to the bathroom outside, but has had an accident once or twice. He enjoys running around the backyard with our other dogs. Hank is a very strong boy and sometimes doesn’t realize his size when he is playing, but he isn’t rough at all. We have walked him a few times and he does well, but he can pull a bit because of his strength, so a harness would be necessary to walk him safely. Hank would be a wonderful companion for a family looking for an active dog. He is being neutered tomorrow and on New Year’s Day he is ready to have go to his forever home.
12/22/25-Hank is a handsome, sweet, curious boy. Hank enjoys wandering around the backyard and sniffing everything he can. He does well with our 4 dogs and loves to sniff them and follow them around the yard & join in playing. He has a lot of energy, but he also knows how to relax and lay down when it is time. He loves being close to us and putting his head in our laps and licking our hands. He is mostly house trained (he had one accident when we first got him), but he does let you know when he needs to go out. He is good with his crate, it does takes him a couple of seconds to go in, but once he is inside he is calm and lays down. Hank has no problem eating. We have taken him on a few walks and he does well on the leash.
12/19/25-Hank The Legend aka: Hank is a beautiful 2 year old male boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder. They found out he was infertile so lucky Hank as he was therefore no good to them. He arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to his transport & overnight volunteers. He has his neuter on Monday 12/29 & he will be ready to go home after that.
