1/30/26-Tucker he is very puppy like . Attention seeking . Pushes Rosie out of the way to get to me. Lol Obsessed with the ball. Eager to learn, knows sit stay Leave it Come . Starting to learn paw. A bit of a spaz at times . Would be ok with another dog or as an only dog. He plays with my dog Rosie but also plays by himself . Rosie and he started to roll the ball to each other. Very sweet. Doesn’t quite get the play/rough housing piece yet with her . Great on leash with harness . He is a love bug when calm . Cuddles but also has alot of energy.. wants to please me . He has head butted me a couple times so needs some work on spatial relationships.. responds to praise and rewards. Needs boundaries . Would worry about a frail person or young kid as could topple them over . He is a sweetie. Just needs consistency and training. Goes in crate well. Sleeps with Rosie at night without a peep. Not destructive at all. He wants to be the center of my world always. Plays with me instead of Rosie mostly right now. Often have to put him into a sit or stay to calm excitement . One very cute thing is he rolls the ball back to you to throw it. He is very smart.
1/21/26-Tucker is doing great. He and my dog Rosie are playing nicely. He is very smart. A messy eater. Lol Great on thevleash. Knows stay, sit, down, leave it….so far. He is a stunning dog. Once we get to know Tucker & his needs a little better he will be ready for his new home.
1/18/26-Tucker is a handsome dark brindle 2 year old neutered boxer owner surrender. He came into rescue today thanks to his transport volunteer. He was well loved but their work situation changed and Tucker was stuck in his cage for 9 hours a day. They knew it was not fair for him & wanted a home where he could get more exercise & attention. Some info from owners: “He loves to be loved. He loves to play ball…a lot. He is food motivated. He smiles by showing his bottom teeth. He is very energetic. He mouths your hand to let you know he’s behind you. He likes treats. He wants to please. He is a smart dog. Can open doors. He’s a good boy and I hope that he finds a home where he won’t be living his life in a cage.”
