2/16/26-Hello everyone it is me Kahlua. I arrived in rescue on Saturday and am doing great. There were a bunch of toys, treats and a new collar waiting for me. It has been a busy couple of days. Yesterday we celebrated the resident dog Jackson’s birthday with a special cake. We also went on a walk in the cemetery. I walk great on a leash. I am also great with my house manners. I do all my business outside the resident dog insists. Today I had to go to the vet to get up to date on shots. I was great in the waiting room and was chill it was so busy. I made friends with all the people that were waiting. I am super friendly with everyone. This is my new bed my foster mom came home with today! I love beds and blankets. I get spayed this Thursday 2/19 & I will be ready to go to my new home soon after.
2/13/26-One last JAILBREAK for the week!!!? KAHLUA was surrendered to a small shelter partner who reached out to our rescue. The owner said they were moving & couldn’t take her. She arrived to rescue today. We have quickly learned how much love she has been missing, and craves. She needs a cheeseburger or 2 as she is very skinny. She’s got a wonky ear but it does not seem to bother her – just adds to her special personality and provides a glimpse into her past life before rescue. Poor girl was definitely bred. Loves people, no issue meeting my boxer, good on leash. Scarring only on her ears, no infection, drainage or stenosis in the canal. This French girl is going to be awesome. She is a noisy snorty little girly & is a lover and would like to be touching you at all times lol.
