4/8/26-Champ is doing great in here in his foster home. He is ready to put his past of being bounced around and his tummy troubles behind him. He is a super sweet boy who is good with everything!

He likes dogs big and small young and old. He also LOVES all people young and old. He does like to run around the yard and do zoomies. He also likes to go on car rides. He is good on walks.  He is good with dogs but might be to much for older dogs. He likes to run and jump and be a young boxer boy. Sometimes the older dogs here do not appreciate it so much! Lol

Champ does good in the house with manners. He pretty much likes to follow you around all day. He is a chill boy at night and will chill on his dog bed. He does not bother your shoes or stuff left on the floor. He will jump on the counter or table for food. So you will need to keep clear counters. His tummy is starting to feel better after having a week of decent food. He does still need to put on weight. He is eating three small meals a day.  Champ is looking for his forever home after being bounced around due to no fault of his own. If you are looking for a lovely super sweet young guy who just wants to devote his life to you Champ may be the one for you!

3/29/26-Champ is a handsome 2 year old boxer owner surrender that came into rescue today thanks to his transport volunteers. This poor young boy has been thru a lot in his short life. His original owner passed away and then the family member who took him in sadly also passed away! He landed in 2 different foster homes in the south where he was raised. Champ has had some tummy issues on/off since he was surrendered in January. He’s since been on antibiotics, fiber and probiotics and the last rescue completed a battery of tests (fecal, heartworm/lyme, bloodwork) & all came back normal. He gained weight, was matched to a forever home & transported up north to an adopter. However after about a week in the new home, the adoptive family determined Champ does not like horses and since the horses live on the property, they decided it wouldn’t work out.
Now his tummy issues were back & he was put back on antibiotics & probiotics & prescription food (Science Diet) but that is all temporary. It may be both stress & food related? Poor boy is so scared and stressed – who wouldn’t be after 5 moves and not feeling great!? We were told he is social, house trained, crate trained & decent on leash. No history with cats. Champ is now in his foster home where he will appreciate the decompression time & we will work on his tummy issues.
