4/26/26-Sestra (means sister in slavik) Has arrived and she is chilling out in her foster home’s nice big, safe fenced yard. Thank you all for jump starting a great new beginning for this little girl! She has an appointment Monday 4/27 to get a checkup & her heartworm/lyme test & shots updated. Sestra will be spay Wednesday 4/29/26. She is beautiful and was great on the transport to get to her foster home.
4/25/26-Sestra is a sweet & petite 3 year female boxer owner surrender that is coming into rescue tomorrow. She has been living at a family member of her owner with her buddy Diego (also available) for the past year as the owner was having personal issues. The owner finally decided he can no longer care for them both so decided to turn to rescue to find them a new home. The family member says she would have kept them both if she didn’t already have 2 of her own dogs & one of her own dogs is a little dog aggressive so she has been keeping them separate using gates. She says Sestra is a great dog and thinks Sestra is little Miss independence, probably leans more alpha (which is no surprise being a female lol) She also says she is healthy but no known exposure to cats or young children.
