8/3/26-Waldo is making himself right at home. He is showing his impish side nos & tends to find things to destroy such as pens, envelopes, letters, and paper napkins if you aren’t paying attention & keeping them out of his reach. He will go into his crate whenever we have to leave for any length of time. He is very vocal when we arrive home & excited to see us. He has to sit calmly before he is let out of his crate. Waldo will let you know when he is hungry and tends to get a bit grumpy when his breakfast or his dinner is later than usual. Lol Waldo comes upstairs to make sure I am up when he hears the alarm. He is good about doing his business outside as long as he is let out at regular intervals. He has the cutest way of standing on his hind paws and rapidly moving his front paws to get your attention. He loves to sit on your lap but tends to get a bit jealous when my other dogs want my attention. He will be your shadow. It is very easy to fall in love with him.
7/20/26-Here’s Waldo still looking for his furever home. Waldo’s personality is blooming. He loves to get on your lap to get your attention. Usually it is for 1 of 3 reasons. (1) he wants attention, (2) he is hungry, or (3) he has to go outside. He tends to get grumpy if his breakfast or his dinner is later than usual. Lol He can go up and down the stairs with no issues. He jumps on furniture so keep the things you don’t want him to have fun with by destroying them out of his reach. He goes into a crate to keep him safe when we have to leave for a length of time. He definitely lets you know to let him out when we return. Waldo has to calm down before the crate door will be opened. You need to be careful while walking since he is always near you. Waldo still wants to be on your lap for car rides. He gets along well with everyone but is a bit uncertain with the younger kids. He is terrified of a broom when I get it out to sweep. His birth date is unknown but the vet thinks he is around 3 years old. Waldo is such a lovable little guy. It is hard to believe that someone hasn’t added him to their family
7/7/26-Heres Waldo in his favorite sleeping position..on your lap, on his back, and being cradled in your arms. Such a sweet boy! His fur is so soft.
7/3/26-Here’s Waldo at his pre neuter appointment on June 30th. Poor guy woke up in the morning with diarrhea and vomiting. The doctor said that as long as he was his lively self by tomorrow morning, that Waldo could be neutered. It was later on in the evening that he finally felt like eating. Unfortunately, that was also past the time he could have food. His neuter appointment went well on July 1st. Waldo is recovering nicely. Waldo came home with some medication for his diarrhea and that has worked wonders for him. Waldo must have always been held on the lap during car rides of whoever owned him before since even after the effects anesthesia were wearing off, he was not content in the car seat. Waldo is acting like he never had surgery. Waldo’s loving urges with the lady dogs have greatly subsided. Waldo has made himself right at home. He likes to sleep on a reclining chair at night where the room is cool. Waldo loves belly rubs which makes it very convenient for me to keep an eye on his stitches. Waldo will make someone very happy with loads of dog kisses and cuddles so get your applications in soon! It is very easy to fall in love with this little 8 pound bundle of joy.
6/29/26-Waldo is very affectionate and will follow you around wherever you go. Today he preferred the coolness of the ground after he spent 10 minutes giving kisses and hugs. Waldo gets along well with my 3 dogs and 2 cats. The only issue right now is that he is not neutered yet and he wants to get frisky with the ladies. Lol He has pre neuter appointment tomorrow and he will be neutered on Wednesday 7/1. This will start to calm those urges down. Waldo likes car rides, walks okay on a leash, sleeps with me in bed at night but also is okay inside a crate. My kids, grandkids, and great grandkids were over enjoying the pool. Waldo was great around so many new people. This snuggle bug will be ready for adoption soon.
6/25/26-Waldo is a cute little about 2.5 yr old male pomeranian mix that was a stray to a great shelter we work with. He came in today thanks to his transport volunteer. He will be staying with a temporary foster home until 6/27 when he will move to his actual foster home. He won’t be around long as he is a sweet boy!
