8/20/26-Ruby hasn’t been in her crate for over 2 weeks she has the run of house such a good girl. Our own boxer frequently needs crate when no eyes on him so we can see how great Ruby is! Lol

8/19/26-I don’t think dog savvy cats would be an issue as even if she sees a rabbit on our walks she will shy away from them. No accidents or destruction, we leave her out alone & has free range of home up and down.  She is now ready for her new home!

8/18/26-Ruby is doing great. Sestra, our old foster boxer, came for a visit with our granddaughter she now lives with. Ruby preferred to sit this one out & stayed on the other part of the couch. She likes to be social at a distance. Lol

8/15/26-Ruby on the left! My over the top boxer on right. As you can see Ruby is now comfortable in a home , even jumping on couch. Friendly, energetic and calm in house .She is doing well with all family members, but shy with new people.Every day she more confident and walks the house and stairs with us. She is real beauty.

8/12/26-Update on Miss Ruby , she did great with her spay & is all up to date with vaccines. She is gaining confidence everyday. We are up to 2 miles walking doing well with leash training.Tolerating our hyper male boxer. Enjoying meeting new people and loves children the most. She is super relaxed easy going dog. Loves her crate, but we don’t ever put her in it. No destructive habits . We just adore her , coming out of her shell.

8/9/26-Ruby is slowly learning how to live a better life. She is less scared , making people friends and dog friends slowly. Loves children. Loves long walks & yogurt and ice cream with blueberries.

8/7/26-Ruby is up to date on her shots now. She tested positive for Lyme and anaplasmosis (tick borne infections, not contagious). She is on doxycycline antibiotic to clear these up.

8/6/26-Sweet Ruby had her first vanilla ice cream. Little did she know it was her deworming pill as well. Lol She went for a mile walk doing well on leash, never pulls. She is making friends with our boxer Bentley. Starting to come out of crate more , socializing. More to come as only 3 days down.

8/5/26-Meet Ruby ! She is a sweet girl. Loves her crate where she feels safe. Slow going getting use to a house. Learning leash and simple commands. Loves children and tolerates our hyper dog.

8/2/26-Ruby is a beautiful 4 year old boxer that came in today from a small breeder that was downsizing.  The breeding dogs were not kept in the house so she will need time to adjust.  She is friendly but a little anxious as can be expected. She is a little overweight. Her spay is on Monday 8/10 & she will be ready to ho home soon after.
