8/22/26-Zeus is settling in nicely. He is feeling much better and has healed well from his neuter. He loves the other dogs and has been great in the house, we let him have full run of the house with our dogs 4 1/2 hours alone in the house and absolutely nothing wrong. Zeus loves his people and wants to be wherever we are. This guy is going to make someone very happy!! He is a great companion!

8/18/26-We received the heartworm/lyme test results & Zeus is positive for Lyme disease (tick borne infection, not contagious). Luckily he is not showing any symptoms & he will be starting on doxycycline antibiotics to clear this up. He will be ready to be matched to his new home next week! 

8/16/26-Zeus is tired from his trip to tractor supply today. He had some blood work done to test for heartworm & lyme and he saw more than a dozen dogs and 5 cats and not a single reaction to any of them. Zeus is such a great dog and so relaxed! We will have his test results in a few days then he will be ready for his new home. 

8/14/26-Zeus is doing great after his visit to the Vet yesterday to get neutered.  He is not very happy with the pink collar,unfortunately Harper is a girl and that’s what we have. I think he has been a good sport about it. lol 

8/12/26-Zeus is starting to settle in and get comfortable, he is a big goofy boy who has a great personality and listens well. I will be taking him to the vet tomorrow to get neutered and updated on all his shots.

8/10/26-Zeus had a good night sleep no accidents. He likes the girl dogs and even met the cat had no reaction at all to him. I think he is adjusting very well considering the sudden change. I have to say he is a great boy and loves to give hugs. Zeus has a neuter appointment Thursday 8/13 & will be ready to go home soon after. 

8/9/26-Zeus arrived today & is meeting our dogs Hadley and Harper for the first time and I have to say Zeus is a complete gentleman. He really is a great guy. I took him for a walk and he is very good on a leash and nothing bothers him.  

From his transport volunteer: This boy is the most sweetest social boxer I think I’ve ever met! He just wants to be snuggled by everyone loves being pet and hugging. His foster parents have him now and will be giving him a good scrubbing soon.  

8/8/26-Zeus is a sweet about 5 year old male boxer that came from the same home as Lexus & is coming into rescue tomorrow. Sadly their owner was losing their house & had to move back to Puerto Rico & couldn’t afford the thousands to have the brought with them. Owner says they are healthy and very good dogs. His friends & family bring their dogs of all sizes and breeds to his house and there are never any issues. He says Zeus is a big baby, very submissive and Lexus is just a chill older lady. They both love to go in the kiddy pool and soak. They are also good with children of all ages and have been exposed to cats with no issue. & said they are crate trained and housebroken.
