5/04/23-This sweet, happy bundle of fur has been with me for a few days now and has a delightful outgoing personality. He stomps his little front feet so fast and wiggles all over when he sees me that he makes me laugh. Scruffy has the softest fur that bounces when he runs, which he loves doing, he’s a real pro at stairs,inside and outside, he’ll accompany you no matter where you want to go. He’s good in the car, but has the tendency to want to stand with his front feet on the console and copilot for you, so he would benefit from a doggie seatbelt if you’re not comfortable with that.
Scruffy is also awesome with other dogs, and since he came from that kind of situation, that is a big plus if your planning on multiple dogs, or visiting friends who have dogs.
He is a true companion dog ready to go anywhere you go.
Potty training is definitely a work in progress, but I’m confident he’ll get there.
We did neuter this boy, so it’s important to know that this boy had a lower heartbeat than normal so we had a cardio specialist do an echocardiogram and there is nothing wrong with his heart. This lower heartbeat is just normal for him. So Scruffy is happy and healthy and ready for his new life!
05/01/23-Scruffy is an 3 year old terrier/puggle (pug/beagle) mix rescued from an overcrowded breeder. He arrived into foster yesterday along with Dirk, LiLou & Elmo. He is very sweet & how can you not fall for his scraggly look! He is at the vet today for his checkup, shots & neuter. More updates from his foster home coming once he is back from the vet tomorrow night. Scruffy will be ready to go home very soon.
