5/21/23-Cash is doing great & really is a love! He is definitely attached to my son but we do crate him when my son can’t be with him. Cash does bark at first then settles down. As far as house training goes, he does well if going straight out on a leash otherwise he still will try to mark on his way out. Once outside he loves being out there, as long as it’s not raining! LOL He eats well, is happy, likes quiet time. He walks very well on a leash with a harness. He would do well as an only dog or with one other quieter one.

5/12/23-Cash decided to come out tonight once the loud dogs went to bed. He’s very shy but so far good with all the other dogs. He went out in the pen with foster puppy Rain and then by himself and started running around like he knew he was free! It brought tears to my eyes as he ran in and out of the house and all around inside. He then went straight to my sons door and sat until he opened it, jumped up on the bed and got a greenie for a treat. He does very well with a harness and leash. Loves to go for walks and explore. I’m going to start bringing him to work with me so he’ll have more exposure to various people and places. He’s very friendly and will make someone a very good companion!
5/9/23-Cash had a rough night Sunday night with all the changes. He barked all night but he finally caved in the morning and was sound asleep in bed with my son. Cash is doing better today & not so scared & nervous as when he first arrived. He would rather be walked than come out in the pen. I’ve been rotating dogs so he’s not overwhelmed but he has met all my dogs. My son has been walking Cash and he does well on a leash. Big changes already as Cash now loves to cuddle right up with my son, his BFF! He has not been eating much yet so I am cooking a chicken for him tonight to try and entice him.
5/7/23-Cash arrived this afternoon but is currently a nervous wreck and very skittish with men. It made me cry because my 19 yr old son is so good with new dogs and Cash just cowers when he goes to pat him. All Cash wants is for me to hold him right now. I had to let him out, so far so good, just have the puppy fosters and my little dogs out with him and he seems fine. One of my chis (he’s blind in one eye and deaf) snapped at him and he ran. LOL
05/05/23-Cash is a handsome 16 month old male moyen (aka: medium) poodle. He was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they just got done breeding him. He arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks to his transport & temporary foster volunteers. Due to vet backups he is not being neutered until Tuesday 6/6. Once he is neutered he will be ready to go to his new home. More updates soon from his foster home!
