5/25/23-Yesterday was a BIG day for Eloise: she started barking while playing with the dogs, and even rolled over for a belly rub! She’s still very skittish, but is really blossoming. Potty training has been a challenge, but she’s starting to catch on. Now that we’ve seen so much change in her in a few days, we’re confident she will continue to grow with her forever family. In a lot of ways, she’s the easiest foster we’ve had, yet at the same time the most broken.

5/24/23-Eloise is starting to come out of her shell. She loves the dogs but is still fearfull of humans, although she is getting more trusting everyday; we are even getting some slight tail wags.  She sleeps in her crate at night, without making a peep, and has only had 2 accidents in it. She sleeps all day, with the exception of getting up to play with the dogs once in a while; she loves having a bed to sleep on, and doesn’t care to leave it. She goes in and out of the house willingly to go potty and is getting used to the grass. We are working on night time cuddles, and once she remembers how great they are she snuggles right in. She did have 9 teeth extracted, so she does require soft food right now, however she’s not much of an eater at this time. Once Eloise learns that humans aren’t all bad, I think she will have alot of love to offer. She is a sweetie!

5/19/23-Eloise is a very cute 5 year old female French bulldog. She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. She met the cats at her overnight home, sniffed a bit but paid no mind. She loved the dogs ran and played. She was terrified of humans but no aggression. Elouise arrived to her foster home & she said she breaks their heart, but Eloise is safe now. More updates from her foster home soon
