5/25/23-Baci is doing great & is a happy girl! We got the test results today for the lump that was removed from her leg. It’s a low grade 2 mast cell tumor which is best you can get for a tumor that isn’t completely benign. She gets her stitches out Monday & then Baci is ready for her new home!

05/23/23-I haven’t been here a full week yet and I’m already getting the hang of things! Foster mom says that I’m not a typical mill momma, which is a good thing. My overnight foster mom told her I have no fear or anxiety or lack of socialization that she sees in other mill mommas and she agrees! Everyone who has met me fell in love with me. Thanks to everyone who took the time out of their weekend to take me in and transport me to my foster home! I didn’t mind going from one car to the next, it was kinda fun meeting everyone.

I’ve been a good girl when it comes to my stitches, foster mom has been able to take this thing that was around my neck off because I don’t bother them, I don’t even realize they are there. It’s nice to be free and run around whether it be inside or out. Yes, I do the things that normal pugs do – I snort, wiggle and my tail is constantly wagging. All someone has to do is to look at me and I start. Life is so much better than being in a puppy mill. In case you didn’t know this, I’m looking for a home to call my own, it would be pawsome if someone out there came and claimed me as their own. I have a tiny little tongue and love to give tiny kisses to my foster Mom!! I will need some training but think of the fun we’d have doing it together!

05/19/23-Baci is a cute as can be 6 year old female pug saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they just got done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. We had her spayed earlier this week along with a lump removed from her left hind knee area & dental cleaning with 9 extractions. Lulu has antibiotics & ear medication to help her get better. Her stitches come out in about 10 days & we should have the results of the testing on the lump too by then. More updates soon from her foster home!
