5/22/23-What a difference a day makes! Frankie spent the morning playing with Delaney. She discovered and decided the grass isn’t so bad after all and had a great time running around. We are working on potty training.  She held her bladder through the night last night.  Only one accident on the floor today.  She met the cats today and neither seemed bothered by one another.  She also went from not coming out of her crate on her own to venturing out on her own this evening. Resilient little thing she is. We are truly enjoying every minute with her.

5/22/23-Frankie arrived safely yesterday evening to her foster home. She is very sweet and was tolerant of our dog Shadow’s happy and forward hellos. She seemed to be very interested in my teenager Delaney and her whereabouts and appears to be good with children. She ate like a champ and took her medicine without any issues. She slept in her crate all night where I only heard her squeaking her new toys.  She doesn’t seem to know what grass is and instantly goes to her belly once outside. Doesn’t want to walk on her leash but doesn’t have any issues with putting her leash on. Oh but those soulful eyes.  You can tell she’s taking it all in and just wants to be loved. She’s a work in progress and I can’t wait to see her shine brighter each day.  Here’s some glamor shots courtesy of Delaney.

5/19/23-Frankie is a beautiful 5 year old female dark brindle French bulldog. She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. We had her spayed earlier this week along with a dental cleaning with 4 extractions.  She has a yeast infection in her ears. Frankie has antibiotics & ear medication to help her get better. More updates from her foster home soon.
