5/27/23-Della had a good first night. Cried in her crate for about 15-20 minutes then settled down for the night. She was sound asleep when I got up at 4am. She laid by my feet when I was blow drying my hair. She’s the sweetest peanut. I was sitting the chair with her next to me, I moved and she stayed sound asleep. Then my other foster Mimosa moved over to keep her company. She is a hoot & 5 lbs of feisty! Sometimes finding her is like finding a needle in a haystack! LOL I wish I was off today!
5/26/23-Della is a beautiful 7 week old flashy dark brindle boxer. She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as she failed her health exam so she could not be sold. She has a cleft palate (has closed up now) & a possible grade 3 heart murmur. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She has an appointment with another vet on Monday 6/5 for another checkup & additional testing if needed. At that time we will find out what else needs done for Della to give her the best life possible. More updates next week after her vet visit.
