7/02/23-Arlo is doing great & he has really came out of his shell.  He loves to run around the backyard he gets the zoomies multiple times a day .  I recently introduced him to my mother’s dog that usually isn’t very friendly with everybody. They’ve been inseparable ever since!  We let them play at least once a day & Arlo is just in love with him. As we are approaching his appointment on Monday July 10th for his neutering, Arlo will be ready for his forever home. This is a great little guy!

 

6/25/23-Arlo is doing exceptionally well & this is one remarkable little guy. He has adjusted very well to home life. He’s been with me now a little over a week and is doing awesome. He does not use the bathroom in the house at all he enjoys taking walks and walks very well on a leash. He can be a little skittish at times with certain noises but that’s to be expected as he lived in a tiny cage. He’s loves when it’s time to eat. He will stand there and eat his food and just wag his little tail! Arlo is just the happiest little guy. He got to meet my neighbor’s 6-month-old lab puppy and they played so well together. He makes these little squeaking noises when he gets excited when he runs he is just so happy!  He starts getting the zoomies & it is absolutely the most adorable thing ever. We got the results of his heartworm & lyme test & he is negative on all too. He will be ready for his forever home very soon!  
 
6/22/23-I’m telling you what, this dog…he is l the best! Such a good boy & whoever gets him is going to be super lucky because he is one awesome little dude. He is fully house trained, he has never used the bathroom in the house at all. I do not crate him, he has free range of the house and does great. My mother does take him out three times a day for me but he’s awesome. We got the results on his heartworm & lyme test & all were negative. Also looks like the antibiotics are working on his swelling as they are definitely a lot smaller.
 
6/19/23-I would like to introduce Mr. Arlo he is a 9 month old puggle that was saved from a hoarding situation. He is just the sweetest boy ever he is very well behaved. He’s a beautiful boy & such a good dog too. He walks very well on a leash he stays right by your side & he hasn’t messed in the house at all. He does well eating in the kitchen with my dog Bella. They ate together this morning and he ate his food and moved along.  He gets along great with my dog and my cat as well . He also sleeps all night  .He did go to the vet today for his checkup & shots. Arlo’s testicles are very swollen so the vet put him on an anti inflammatory & antibiotics for 2 weeks. He said if the swelling doesn’t go down in 10 days it’s definitely not from an infection. Since he wants this to clear up first, Arlo will have to wait 3 weeks to be neutered. His neuter is scheduled for July 10th & after that he will be ready for his forever home.  The didn’t want to vaccinate today due to this possible infection so those will be done later too. Poor boy also has an ear infection so has medication to clear that up too. We know he should be feeling much better soon. 

06/17/23-Arlo is an adorable 9 month old puggle (pug/beagle) rescued from an overcrowded breeder along with Mugsy & Ranger. He has arrived thanks to his transport volunteers & another that held him for a couple hours until his foster home was available. She said Arlo did extremely well & he played really hard for 2 hours with her dog.  He has The cutest face & is very small!  He sees the vet on Monday 6/19 for his pre-neuter checkup & shots & we will get his neuter date set then too. More updates soon.
