8/6/23-Loki is living up to his name. This afternoon I brought in two cases of water. I turned my back to do something and returned to find the bottles scattered on the floor because he ripped up the plastic. I found one bottle in the family room and another was leaking. He also tried to shower with me yesterday. LOL Potty training is progressing but I have to watch like a hawk. Today I had both Loki and my dog in the yard. He was zooming around and she was trying to tell him to slow down. I took him with me to pick up dog food at Tractor Supply and a pet store. He is very strong and does not do well on the leash as he will wander from side to side. He knows the sit command but you must say it with a forceful voice. He continues to gobble his food. He loves to be close and will stay by your side when ever you move.  He’s a very sweet boy but definitely a puppy through & through & still gets into mischief if not watching him.

8/01/23-Loki is doing great. He is definitely a velcro pup & loves to be close and follows me around.  He does great in the crate but getting him in can be a challenge unless food is involved. LOL Loki will lay down and look for belly rubs rather then come when called. He will fetch & he brings it back to your general area. Loki definitely needs to work on his manners – he is very much a puppy.  Open doors have not been a problem as I  tell him to step back and there is no move to charge the door. He will need consistency and training & will become a great family member.

7/24/23-Loki, the God of Mischief, arrived to his foster home on Saturday. He is compact but very strong. He loves his food and eats rapidly – slow feeder is suggested. His face and tail are more bulldog looking and adorable. He has white socks on his paws and legs. Loki will go into the crate with a nudge and settles in well but he really loves to be close to his person. When he gets out of his crate he is very excited and jumps up on me. It is best to have a hold on his collar. He does not know what personal space is at this point.LOL Loki will do a sit but that is his only obedience behavior he knows right now.  He does act like a puppy trying to play and running through the house. More updates to come.

(Since I’m still a baby I need home with someone home more often. Ex: work at home, retired, at home parent, work opposite, etc)

07/19/23-Loki & his sister Jesse are very sweet 8-9 month old English bulldog/boxer mix puppies that came into rescue today thanks to their transport & temporary foster volunteers. They were taken in by a shelter as their owner was not able to care for them anymore. They lived with kids 8 & up & were good with them & they love other dogs. You can tell them apart in pictures as Loki has a lot of pink on his nose. Updates soon from their foster homes!
