9/5/21-Mabel arrived on Friday. She is a 6 month old English Bulldog pup who was released from a puppy mill due to having demodex mange. She has been spay, brought up to date and has begun treatment for her skin problems. While she looks pitiful mange is easily treated with monthly Nexgard (flea/tick) treatment. This type of mange is not contagious to people or other animals. Mabel will be looking good in no time.

Mabel is a friendly, happy little girl. A little shy at first but has been coming around SO quickly. She isn’t going to let a rough start stop her from being a happy, bouncy puppy!
So far no accidents in the house (besides one in her crate her first night here) and she very good about doing her business as soon as she’s let out. Mabel still hasn’t figured out toys yet (sad a puppy has no idea what to do with toys!) but I’m sure she will figure them out soon. More updates as we get to know her better.
