9/29/23-Ruby has begun to reveal her personality. She enjoys playing with toys, going on walks, getting pets, and running around with my dog. She’s scared of loud noises and becomes a bit nervous when my dog is not around, so I would recommend a home with another dog. She could also be fine as an only pet, but it might take her a little longer to adjust. Currently, she consistently goes potty outside with no accidents in the house. I gave her a bath on Wednesday, and she was not a fan of the water or the blow dryer. She sleeps in the crate without any crying, and although she tends to pull a little when walking on the leash, she generally walks well. She is ready to go to her new home!
9/25/23-My name is Ruby. I’m a very smart, sweet, and beautiful 5-year-old Mini Goldendoodle. I’m good with other dogs and kids. On the first day I arrived at my foster home, I was very scared. I spent most of my time sitting in a corner, watching my foster mom and my Boxer mix foster brother from a safe distance. I slept well through the night in my crate and didn’t cry or bark. On the second day, I started showing my sweet personality. I followed my foster mom everywhere, wagging my tail, and giving her kisses. I went potty outside, and as of right now, I haven’t had any incidents in the house. I didn’t like it when she put me in the crate; I cried for a few minutes before falling asleep. More updates as I get use to life outside the mill & I should be ready to go home soon.
09/22/23-Ruby is a beautiful 5 year old female mini Goldendoodle (miniature poodle/Golden Retriever). She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they just got done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. She had a dental cleaning & has yeasty ears with medicine. Updates soon from her foster home!
