10/24/23-Leo is a wonderful dog. He loves everyone. He is the softest dog I have every held and my daughter calls him her teddy bear.  Everyone who meets Leo, loves him. He adores kids and adults and would make a wonderful addition to any family. He plays well with our dog, but would be fine as a solo dog too. He is not hyper and responds to no very well. He is doing great with potty training and is definitely smart and catching on quickly. His favorite toy is his bone. It took him awhile to know what to do with it, but now he loves it. He deserves a home that can give him unconditional love and the security to know he will never go hungry again. He will return your love and affection 10 fold. ❤️

10/13/23-Leo is doing great & saw the vet today for his pre-neuter appointment.  He is now scheduled for his neuter on Wednesday 11/1 & will be ready to go home after that. Leo does fine in his crate during the day but at night he would prefer to be in your bed. He also loves to sit in your lap whenever he can. He is a very calm puppy & has a very mellow sweet disposition. He also doesn’t pull on the leash either.  Leo is fine with people and kids when he eats and I can touch him and stick my hand in his bowl no worries, but due to his starvation in his prior home he gets protective when our dog walks by his crate when he is eating. He doesn’t have this possession with bones or toys though, just his kibble and only toward another animal. Until he realizes he will never go hungry again he will do best being fed meals separately from other pets. This sweet cuddle bug will be ready to go home soon! 

10/3/23-I’m fostering Leo, an adorable puggle who is 8 months old & super sweet. Great with the kids (6, 9 & 13). He insists on sleeping with one of them every night and would be a great BFF for a kiddo!

10/1/23-Leo is a cute as a button 8 month old male puggle (pug/beagle) rescued from an overcrowded breeder along with Sammy & Ripple. He has arrived thanks to his transport volunteers. We have had many others in past from this breeder & they have all been very sweet & great dogs. He had his vet checkup & shots today & we are working on finding a vet to do his neuter in a reasonable amount of time (vets are all backed up). He will be ready to go home after his neuter. More updates soon from his foster home!
