10/18/23-Luna has done great with me the last 2 weeks. She is sweet and healthy girl, who loves to snuggle. She spent the day with 2 other dogs and became fast friends. Luna enjoys playing with other dogs. She is good with kid 4 and over too. Luna walks well on a leash and is now jumping up to get in the car and going for car rides.  She loves to go for walks. She is potty pad trained but will need work learning more to go outside to do her business.  Luna enjoy letting her foster mom know when she has gone on the potty pad to get a treat.   She stays in my kitchen when I go to work so she has not been in a crate since her transport day. 
 
10/16/23-Luna went to the vet today for her pre-spay checkup.  She was lighter than we thought originally (only 26 lbs) but is a little underweight.  We did find out her date of birth year from mill was actually 2022 so she is 18 months old, not 6 months. The vet agreed that was more likely true as she didn’t have baby teeth anymore.She is super sweet & loved playing crazy wild with another young dog today before her appointment. Luna was also good with the cat she met. Her spay is next Wednesday 10/25 & she will be ready to go home after that! 
 
10/8/23-Luna is my first foster dog.  She is such a love! She is the sweetest girl & is very smart. She loves to go for rides with me in the car. I am so blessed to be her foster mom! This wonderful pup won’t be around long. 
 

10/7/23-Meet Luna Lou. She was just rescued on Thursday and snuggled on her foster mom all the way home. Her foster mom took her to PetSmart to get a bath and a new Bills scarf. Luna is already for the Buffalo Bills game in London tomorrow.  She is starting to go potty on the potty pad and gets excited to show her foster mom so she can get a treat. Luna loves snuggling with foster mom and going for car rides. 

 
 

10/05/23- Luna Lou is a beautiful and so sweet 6 month old mini aussie (miniature Australian Shepherd) rescued from a puppy mill. We were told she wouldn’t heard the cows so sounds like they wanted her as a farm dog but she had other ideas! LOL She arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She is lyme positive so she is on antibiotics for the next 28 days to clear that up. Monday 10/16 is her pre-spay check-up & her spay will be scheduled for asap after that. Once she is spayed this cutie will be ready to go home!
