11/3/23-Was I dreaming or am I dreaming now? That’s what I asked my foster mom and she told me, that I was living a nightmare being a mill momma and all of that is behind me now and I’m living in the real world! I love this world, I will no longer be forced to have babies, I will be treated like a queen. I have only been with my foster mom and four legged foster brothers and a sister for a week now, but I am really learning fast. I am starting to play with them and we all have fun when we go outside to do our business. I’m still having a little problem with that but I have come a long way in only a week! I have accidents but no one gets upset at me.
I’m eating very well, considering I had some teeth removed. I get excited when I get cookies and I’m working on my crate training. I loved to be cuddled and picked up, I have no fear of human touch which my foster mom is happy about! She says I am a love bug! She is going to start putting a leash on me and take me for a walk, I’m not sure what that is, but I know she will never do anything to hurt me.
I’m very good when she has to clean my ears and she puts medicine in them, I only have a few days to go with that and the antibiotics I have to take. I get peanut butter with them and boy is that a treat! Foster mom also cleans my eyes and creases around my nose and I’m ok with that.
As much as I love living with my foster family, I need my own family to love me and for me to love them back. Keep looking for updates on me and maybe, just maybe you and I can become a family? Oh, and I forgot to say thank you to everyone who helped bring me out of my nightmare to my life as a queen!
10/27/23-Suki is a sweet 4 year old female pug saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they just got done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. She had a dental with extractions & is being treated for yeast in her ears. Suki also has a grade 4 luxating patella which is common in this breed. More updates soon from her foster home!
