1/5/23-Tilly saw our vet for a checkup today & to look at her eyes. She is a healthy little girl. She was not due for any more shots at this time. She is completely blind & the vet said probably hereditary. She is so cute & sweet that everyone including the vet wanted her! Lol Tilly is now ready to go to her special home!
12/30/23-Miss Tilly although blind gets around like a normal puppy and is navigating the house using her smell. Tilly will make a noise when she has to go potty. She is eating and drinks out of her dish already too. Tilly enjoys playing with toys and her foster doggie sisters. She has been on many adventures in the past two days and enjoys the snuggles of other people. Today she hung out at the general store for a while. Tilly does well with children of all ages. She is not nervous or skittish & is a fiesty little puppy! Lol She will need another dog in the house to help navigate safely when adopted.
12/29/23-Meet Miss Tilly the Little Wonders. Tilly in German means Mighty in Battle. She loves to snuggle, follow your voice, sounds, and smells. Tilly is such a super sweet girl. She went to the bowling alley and made many friends. Tilly enjoyed some loving at the bowling alley & snuggled with everyone. The noise did not bother her at all. She slept for a while and it was packed in there. Tilly is walking on leash and enjoys following her humans and pups around. She is very chill but is starting to play a little bit.
12/28/23-Tilly Wonder is an adorable BLIND 11 week old miniature poodle. She was saved from a puppy mill as they discovered she was blind & could not sell her. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She is very sweet and full of energy. We estimate she will be about 15 lbs full grown. Since she is blind she will need another dog to be her “guide dog” & someone willing to teach her by sound & smell instead of her eyes. She has a check-up with our vet on Friday & then she will be ready to go to her special home!
