2/11/24-Unfortunately, with Adell being in heat we are not able to locate any nearby vets that will spay her any time soon, even though vets in other states would do it.  It will be closer to the end of March/early April before she can be spayed & then can go to her new home.  We will not be looking for Adell’s match for a new home until she is spayed.  Keep watching how this superstar does as she waits for her surgery!

2/9/24-It’s been almost a week and I’m settling well into my foster home. I’ve had a little hiccup right now; you see I was supposed to get spayed this week but I went into heat so that can’t happen right away. Foster mom and I are hoping that if you saw my picture and fell in love with me, you’d be willing to wait for me.

Not to brag or anything but I’m worth the wait – according to my foster mom, I am beautiful, my coloring is a gorgeous red and I have lots of soft curls. My demeanor is wonderful also, I’m very quiet and just loved to be cuddled. I will make someone the perfect companion even if you have a dog or a cat. I currently live with 2 four-legged foster brothers and 1 four-legged foster sister who are dogs. In my overnight foster home, they had a cat and I did marvelous!

Have I told you that my crate has been dry and I have had no accidents in the house? I’m also eating very well – I have my very own place where food is put out for me and I’m not rushed or bothered while I’m eating. At first, I went around seeing what my foster siblings had and when I realized we all had the same food, I went back to my station and ate.

I know my name is Adell and I answer to it, foster mom is confused why being I’m a mill momma I have a name and I can’t tell her why.  All I know is I love when she calls my name and sings my praises. Oh, speaking of singing, my foster mom tries to sing this song “Hello” from a singer named Adele and she really can’t carry a tune…. when I hear her start “Hello, it’s me I was wondering if after all these years……I try not to run away…. I’m looking for my forever home and promise even if you want to sing to me, I’ll adapt to it. I can adapt to anything now that I’m no longer just living to make puppies.

2/7/24-Adell has the cutest double curled tail! No idea where in her genes that came from but it makes her even cuter! She also could use to lose a few pounds of winter weight so will be closer to 40 lbs once trimmed up some. We are working on getting her spayed as soon as possible then she can go home.

02/01/24-Adell is a gorgeous red 3 year old moyen(aka: medium) goldendoodle (moyen poodle/golden retriever). She was saved from a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks her temporary foster home & transport volunteers. Adell had no issues with the cats while she was at her temporary foster spot so she can go to a home with cats. We are working on getting a spay date asap. Once we get to know her some & she is spayed she will be ready to go to her new home!
