(Since I’m a baby I need home with someone home more often. Ex: work at home, retired, at home parent, work opposite, etc)

2/6/24-Treah & Trace are so sweet and smart. They are learning the routine here. Do most of their potties outside & crate is always clean. I finally sat down around 7pm they instantly bailed on playing with Poppy to come snuggle with me. They know how to make me melt.

2/5/24-Woke up to happy puppies and a clean crate this morning! Got everyone outside and they did their business right away too! From 4:30am to 8:30am this morning the puppies (my older boxer puppy included) played and played and played. I decided the only way they would take a rest is to go in the crate. By 8:32 everyone is sound asleep without a peep! Lol Everyone is having fun. My Bulldog boys are playing like crazy too. They always move just as I’m trying to get cute pictures! Trace was sitting on Rubbles back and they were both looking at Treah and Poppy like the were insane. As soon as I grabbed my phone he moved! Lol Pups are currently taking a potty break and are now confident enough to explore the yard.

2/4/24-Treah & Trace came in with some crusty type lesions on their legs that the initial vet check said could be ringworm but they did not do any actual diagnostics. After a trip to a 2nd vet they said it was not ringworm & most likely a non-contagious viral skin condition & to just treat with Nexgard. Nexgard kills many things that often puppies can have like this, so we have started them on Nexgard. They act & look healthy otherwise & everyone at the vet office loved playing with them both!

2/3/24-Just wanted to give you a little update on the pups. Trace is much calmer then the Treah, he likes to play and then will TRY to relax, she is like a constant ball of energy, she has no shut off button. LOL She is always messing with him , if he tries to sleep or lay down she sits on his head or body, wakes him up, steals everything he plays with, going outside she bites him, knocks him down, she won’t even let him go potty. she’s right there following him around and doing something to mess with him him. When I put a slip lead on her to see if that would work just to give him some time to potty and be able to walk the yard without jumping on him, they both freaked out and only focused on getting the slip lead off each other. The first night he actually got it off her neck. They love each other so much but they will thrive better separated. I know puppies, especially boxer puppies are very energetic but she never wants to just settle. I tried crating and after about half hour she gave up and stopped barking and pouncing on the cage. I was in the living room with the cage about 6 feet from me. I block them off in the kitchen at night and they sleep together on the dog bed on top of each other, Gave them both baths and they both did really well, not scared of the water. I had a few people over and they were not timid or scared, she was actually jumping on everyone where he was just there greeting the people calmly. I’m sure being caged all their lives and having this new found freedom has a lot to do with it, but I can also see a little bully/ stubbornness in her. Treah may be different when her actual foster home gets her as she has other dogs and will be a different atmosphere. I am just letting everone know what I have experienced so far with them together. The are adorable looking pups. They are so cute together, but Treah is the boss. today he seems like Trace is fighting back a bit more, but then that makes her play growl and bite even more. i never had sibling pups so i’m sure i’m not used to all the stuff that goes with it. it will be interesting to see how they act with other non-littermates! Lol

2/1/24-Treah is an adorable 14 week old female fawn & white boxer puppy. She came in with her brindle brother Trace from a puppy mill as they just got too old to sell. They arrived into rescue tonight thanks to their transport & temporary foster volunteers.
