2/14/24-Miss Bella had her pre-spay appointment today & is in perfect health. She is being spayed Monday morning 2/19 & can go home after!  She does well in the car. I have a suv with a dog barrier and the dogs go in the cargo area. I even stopped at Aldi briefly on the way home and she wasn’t barking or stressed when I came out. No car sickness either. Such a good girl!

2/13/24-Miss Bella has been here 5 days now and she’s transitioning well. As with all my other mill fosters she had never used stairs before but now she’s using them on her own.
She had a couple accidents in the house on her first day and not one since. She gets along really well with my five year old female boxer and another foster girl who was here. We’re working on crate training as well and she’s been sleeping in her crate every night without issue. Leash training is coming along nicely as well. Bella got a much needed grooming session and is looking & feeling so much better! Her coat was badly matted so she got clipped short everywhere but her head & tail. She’s absolutely adorable  now and so soft.
This girls long legs make her a master counter surfer though! She made off with a stuffed pork chop( boneless thankfully)over the weekend! So I either limit her kitchen access or watch her closely with a spray bottle handy.
Miss Bella has a pre spay appointment tomorrow and will be ready for her furever home once spayed. She’s playful and affectionate and would make a great addition to your home.

2/11/24-Look what I found! Bella was groomed this morning & we have eyes! LOL Prior to this grooming when i gave her a bath upon arrival she had thorns, straw, kibble, etc coming out her coat & every part of her was a matted mess. I knew she would have to clipped short. She’s definitely more comfortable now & she’s not panting anymore! She was panting just lying on the couch. I have found her in her crate every night panting in the middle of the night. She’s also consuming a fraction of the water she had been consuming. Poor baby was obviously suffering. It feels really good to make such a big difference for her health and future. She’s good with cats too, there was a cat at the groomers. More updates soon on this beauty!

02/08/24-Miss Bella is a very pretty 3 year old female Standard Goldendoodle (Standard poodle/Golden Retriever). She was a breeder farm release as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers.
She is a very sweet girl & can’t take her eyes off the television. Obviously, she’s never seen one before! Lol  Bella has a 9am appointment Sunday morning for a haircut as she is just a matted mess & can’t see either with all the hair in her eyes. She will most likely need shaved all the way down.  Her pre-spay appointment is next Wednesday 2/14 & hopefully a spay date soon after. Once she is spayed she will be ready to go home!
