2/18/24-Trixie had some visitors today and now she is resting. She is such a good pup. Trixie likes following her foster siblings around, dried chicken, and laying with her foster brother Uno. She is healing well from being fixed and having her teach cleaned. Trixie has been around kids 2 & 4 & was good. Her foster mom doesn’t have cats but Trixie is so laid back I think she’d be ok with dog savvy cats. Trixie is a go with the flow dog.  

02/16/24-Trixie Dixie is a tiny cute as button 5 year old female Havanese. She was saved from being a puppy mill as they just got done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She does have a grade 1 luxating patella (lowest level, like a trick knee) in her left rear leg & her right rear foot only has 1 toe. Poor baby! We had her spayed & teeth cleaned but they didn’t do any extractions. More updates soon from her foster home.
