11/8/2021 – Thanks to everyone who helped Olive get to her foster home last Saturday! She was such a great traveler and everyone fell in love with her. What’s not to love about Olive, she is such a sweet girl. Thanks to her temporary foster momma for taking such great care of her and starting her on her way to getting healthier!

After exploring the back yard for a few minutes it was time to meet her new foster brothers and other foster mill momma that is in our care. Within a few minutes of meeting each other it was like Olive was here for some time. The biopsy came back and Olive does have IBD(Inflammatory bowel disease). She has been on meds including steroids, a probiotic & 2 different antibiotics since arriving into rescue and I can honestly say there is a huge difference in her condition.Seeing Olive you would never know that she has IBD because she is one spunky little girl. She loves to eat and will race to her crate when she sees her food coming. She is eating in her crate due to her special diet for her IBD not for any aggression issues. This momma needs to put some weight on! She’s tried to play with my boys and foster girl but is cautious when they start playing with her and I believe it’s because of her size.  Give this girl a few weeks and she’ll have a few more pounds on her! She loves to snuggle with humans and her four legged foster family. Keep watching for more updates as Olive flourishes from her new way of life! No more puppies to worry about, all she has to do now is enjoy the life she was meant to

10/31/21-Olive arrived on Friday after being released from a puppy mill. She spent a few days with our vet partner in Ohio where she was fully vetted while awaiting transport to NY. I’m certain she is thankful to have her breeding days behind her.
Olive is spay and up to date on vaccines but has stomach/GI issues. She is currently being treated for possible IBD as we await results of a biopsy that was done during her spay. Olive is very underweight, we hope to have her a healthy weight soon.
Olive is doing so well despite only being at her temporary foster home for 2 days. She gets along well with the 3 English Bulldogs in her foster. She LOVES every bit of attention she receives, is playing with toys and is generally a pretty easy going girl.
More updates coming soon! Yes
