3/5/24-Hope’s personality is shining thru.  She loves,  loves people,  hugs and kisses, and loves following me everywhere I go. She’s happy go lucky and is going to make someone a great companion. Being a 15 week old puppy she has lots of energy and loves chasing toys I throw for her, this helps her get rid of her energy and gives her some structured time with me.

Hope is also great to give a bath, she just sat quietly in the sink while I sprayed her with water,  shampooed her, rinsed her off and toweled her dry. The perfect puppy.
We have been introducing leash walking,  and still needs work in that department, she’s getting the hang of it. She’s not ready for a 5 mile walk,  but she’s building muscle and stamina and learning it can be fun.
Hope is also recovering from a mild skin infection and is currently on antibiotics that is doing wonders for her and she is so good about taking her medicine. I put a little ground chicken in the palm of my hand,  smosh it around the pill and she gobbles it right up.
FYI,  she’s also a great traveler.
She might just be perfect for you.

02/29/25-Hope is an adorable 15 week old female mini bernedoodle (miniature poodle/bernese mountain dog). She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill along with her brother Lennie as they just got too old to sell. They arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks to their transport & temporary foster volunteers. We estimate she will be about 25 lbs full grown. According to their initial vet check they have a skin condition/possible skin infection & were put on an antibiotic. They have an appointment Monday at our regular vet to check into their skin issue further. More updates from their foster home soon.
