4/11/24-Moara received great reports from the medical personnel that took care of her during her spay. Now to keep her comfortable whipe she recuperates.
4/10/24-Moara now wants to be close to me or my husband. She is still fearful but slowly learning to trust. You can see less fear in her eyes compared to the day she arrived into rescue.
4/9/24-Moara is slowly gaining confidence. She feels the safest sitting on your lap. She is very leery about the other dogs right now but does not seem to mind my two cats. This is her first day outside where she us not shaking like a leaf. Moara will be spayed this Thursday.
4/7/24-Day 3 for Moara. She is still very scared. I see the first signs of trust though coming from those beautiful dark eyes. Slowly making progress. She is looking for a family that will have the patience as she learns how to be a dog. This former mill momma is sweet but scared. She is content to sit in your lap all day. Don’t overlook this girl based on her unfortunate haircut, behind those eyes is a beautiful soul.
4/5/24-Moara is very frightened her first morning out of her puppy mill life but she will be getting lots of love to help her feel more secure. She is currently in a sweater and resting on my lap getting lots of love.
04/4/24-Moara is an almost 5 year old female Cavapoo (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/miniature poodle). She was saved from a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport volunteers. Unfortunately she had a recent complete shave down most likely due to severe matting at the mill. Right now she is missing her cute coat that cavapoos have & it makes her eyes look big. Her fur will grow back soon though so don’t hold that against her! LOL
Moara has her spay next Thursday 4/11 & will be ready to go home after that. More updates from her foster home soon!
